Cubs, bucket boys, and Jesse Jackson
My friend Aaron invited me to the Cubs vs. Giants game yesterday. We had awesome seats. Barry Bonds responded to the incessant booing by cranking 2 HRs. I ate peanuts in the shell. Ha! I can’t remember the last time I ate peanuts in the shell. Joy, thanks for not feeling well
On the way out we walked right by The Reverend. Funny, I had him pegged as a White Sox fan:
And just outside of Wrigley, the bucket boys were doin’ their thing. It was like a long-delayed echo from the days of living on Michigan Ave. Every Saturday they would play for like 17 hours straight. It’s really cool. For the first 2 minutes.
